Pattern is available in English only and written in imperial measurements (inches).
The Char Char was inspired by my trip to Paris with my daughter last summer! It is a smaller, petite bag that is perfect for a gift or a night out! Named after my daughter as well, this is the style of bag she has been begging for! I hope you all love it!
Skill Level: Experienced Beginner
Finished Size: 5” H x 9” W x 3” D
-1/2 roll of vinyl (18” x 54”)
-1/4 yard for the lining material
-1/4 yard fusible Decovil Light or similar (foam is an option, just keep out of seams)
-8“ #5 Zipper Tape (nylon teeth)
-#5 Zipper Pull (1)
-Magnetic Snap or Moon Snap Lock
-3/4” D-Ring (2)
-9 mm Rivets ( 2-6 depending on your straps)
-Chain Strap OR if making a crossbody strap, 3/4 “ Swivel Snap Hooks (2) and .” Strap Adjuster (1) 3/4 strap ends (2)
-Leather hole punch and tool to set rivets
-30” Plastic Foam Welt Piping Cord 3/32“ (2.5mm) diameter
-Wonder Clips, or metal clips
-Rotary Cutter ( I prefer 28 mm size)
-Cutting mat
-Quilting Ruler
-Double Sided Tape (1/8” is my favorite)
-Pinking Shears ( Optional)
-Marking Pens ( I like to use silver pens and sewline air erase,
can be found on amazon)
-Mini Screw Driver
-Loctite glue (if hardware has screws)
